Interior / Exterior
EXPOSURE INTERIOR / EXTERIOR (suggestion)
All of us tend to inconsistency, especially when we handle exposure, especially doing strange things to better view interior and exterior. Let me say something about the point behind :)
In a picture, we have many effects that we cannot see with our eyes, they’re only produced by camera lenses: dof, deformations, vignetting, aberration etc… We are so easily inclined to imitate all these camera’s behaviors!
…BUT – we don’t have the same attention with exposure, and 90% of users tend to underexpose the exterior, in order to “see” something outdoor. This approach is wrong and it only produces fake moods.
The way how a Camera exposes is not comparable with our eyes/brain, so how to have in mind a correct final look?
Simply looking for references, real situations more or less closed to yours, and imitating the exposure balance interior/exterior
Dof, vignetting, motion blur don’t exist in our eyes, they’re just a result of camera limits. Exposure too!

Note: in the 2nd image I just overexposed the background in Photoshop, before to render again. I recreated what I want to see.
