If you get an Antialiasing issue like this one highlighted in the red boxes:

You are probably using one of these Antialiasing filters:

  • Catmull rom
  • VRaySyinc filter
  • Mitchell-Netravali

 

In the 5SRW method we follow another way to get sharp images.
We always use Area as antialiasing filter + Unsharp Mask at 1 pixel (in photoshop), using an additional mask to control the effect.
