WHO I AM

I’m first and foremost a photography enthusiast, who fell in love with V-Ray at first sight 16 years ago. I’ve always loved the idea of being able to create images of environments that don’t exist and designing them as I imagine them, adding a touch of creativity. I’ve been working in this field for 20 years and specifically in the educational sector for 10.

I’ve written ‘Photography & Rendering with V-Ray’, which has been translated into three languages, and ‘Chiaroscuro with V-Ray’, both released by Gabriele Congiu’s excellent publishing house GC Edizioni.

ABOUT ME

As an instructor, I devote a lot of time to analyzing processes for the production of a render. Creating a photorealistic image is just a small part of my work. The rest involves analyzing the procedure that led me to that point, going back, reviewing and perfecting all the photographic concepts that can be used to improve the logical sequence and make it more replicable in different contexts. I love studying these flows and combining the analytical side of my work with the creative and emotional side.

In recent years I have had the good fortune and great honor of participating as a speaker in many industry international events, such as Autodesk University in Las Vegas, Mundos Digitales in Spain, 3DSymposium in Mexico City and Barcellona, End-User-Event in Utrecht, and various others.
