Black Penthouse balances an almost monochrome interior with bright daylight entering through three tall windows. Dark wall panelling, low furniture and reflective surfaces give the room a refined atmosphere, while the window light preserves detail and depth instead of allowing the shadows to become flat. Sharon Funaro created the project after learning the 5SRW method, describing the workflow as simple and effective. The image is a useful example of how photographic exposure, contrast and material response can be coordinated to produce a convincing luxury interior without losing the character of a dark design.
