ARE YOU WORKING TO BE SIMPLER?

I check your exams and read your comments every day.
I’m very proud of your improvements, impressed sometimes.

BUT I would like to push harder toward the simplicity. Simplicity is not for beginners! Simplicity is for very advanced & experienced users: it should be your goal. Unfortunately, I also see that many of you keep looking for complex things, thinking that “complex = expert”

In my opinion, this is a very superficial and false equation.

I know, a lot of relevant artists do complicated things and their results in some way “justify” the complicated explanations. As result, many users feel they’re not able to understand such complexity so they fell themselves not so good. FALSE.

I assure you that all these artists that do complicated things, complicated lightings, complicated materials, they are just ineffective.

Many artists have a great unconscious sense of art and this guide them creating stunning images! But the process adopted is many times indubitably ineffective (I know a lot of great artists, great results, but horrible processes)

So guys, keep working on the photographic side, focus on the artistic approach, try to simplify your mind. Take complex things and work on them to make it simple: MAKE YOUR SCENES SIMPLE! This is the way to optimize everything, your mind, your models, your renders. Everything.
