How’s the ‘dialog’ with your renders?

What drives us during the production, from our vision to the final render?
It’s the image itself, that continually “reacts” to our actions, showing us a new version of itself, test after test.

In other words, we continually dialogue with our renders. it’s a sequence of actions and reactions, between us and our renders. The more effective is this dialogue, the more easily we will arrive at the destination! So the question is: how to improve this ability to ‘read’ images?

I’m sure you know the answer, but you probably don’t practice too much this aspect: REFERENCES.
I’m not simply talking of references for your specific project. I’m talking about to seek and to save in a special folder the pictures that excite you. I’m talking about to feed our eyes and our brains with beautiful things. So, little by little we will improve the way we imagine things and so, the dialogue with our render will always be more effective.

The most important thing in the process is definitely our ability to have correct reactions, test after test.
